An Ethiopian pharmacist who has stood in all three positions — regulator, hospital, and industry. She holds an M.Sc. in Pharmacoepidemiology and Social Pharmacy from Addis Ababa University, where her thesis assessed the pharmaceutical logistics system for maternal-health medicines across the Oromia, Amhara, and SNNP regions, and a B.Pharm from Jimma University. She has served as a regulatory officer at Tabuk Pharmaceuticals and ATMA Import & Export; as a pharmacist at Tikur Anbessa Specialized Hospital across outpatient, ART, and the internal-medicine ward, including procurement and inventory; and as an intern with the Federal Ministry of Health's Pharmaceutical Logistics Management Unit.

A Board-Certified Ambulatory Care Pharmacist (BCACP) trained in U.S. value-based care, she holds a PharmD from the University of Pittsburgh and completed her residency at Kaiser Permanente. She specializes in chronic disease management, population health, medication optimization, and provider collaboration across ACOs and health systems, Licensed in VA, MD, and NC, and proficient in Amharic, she is dedicated to improving medication access and patient outcomes.
